While completing her Dietetic Internship at Lipscomb University, she discovered a love for helping children, adolescents, and adults improve their relationship with food and pursue recovery. Prior to working with eating disorders exclusively, she worked in clinical, rehab and corporate wellness settings, as well as with athletes at Duke University. Jordan has experience working with children and adolescents at the inpatient and residential levels of care for eating disorder recovery, as well as a special interest in helping people with Type 1 Diabetes and eating disorders.
Jordan’s approach to nutrition counseling is one where curiosity and empathy coincides with evidenced based nutrition science, anti-diet principles and Health At Every Size (HAES). Each person’s story is unique to themselves and their nutrition goals should be as well. Jordan believes in personalizing nutrition care so that each client feels supported and included in their treatment goals, while also prioritizing treatment within a comprehensive care team.
